Talia Dudley is a graduate of Langham Creek High School and has been training in dance for over 20 years with emphasis in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. She trained and competed with The Dance Factory in Houston since age 5. During this time, she traveled with other Dance Factory company members to Austria, Germany, and Italy to perform at the Tanzsommer dance gala. While attending high school at Langham Creek, Talia served as a Lieutenant her junior year and a Senior Lieutenant her senior year on the national champion Bailadoras drill team and officer line. Upon graduation, she moved to College Station to attend Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) and was a 4-year member of the Texas Aggie Dance Team, where she served as a Co-Captain her junior year and Captain her senior year. She graduated from Texas A&M University in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. During her time at Texas A&M, she came back several times a year to teach and choreograph for the Cy Ridge Dazzlers, and she always enjoyed coming back each year. In summer 2012, she obtained her certification for secondary education in dance and PE, and joined the Dazzlers in Fall 2012 as the assistant director. In Summer 2017, she became the Director. Currently, Talia is pursuing her Master's in Library Science from SHSU and is expected to graduate in December 2018. She continues to teach, choreograph, and judge tryouts for several studios, soloists, and drill teams throughout the state of Texas, and she feels blessed to be a part of the Cypress Ridge Dazzler family as the Director.
Talia is married to her high school sweet-heart, Michael Dudley, and they have one son, Parker, who was born in November 2016, and another son, JP, due in October 2018. She has a passion for dancing and teaching, enjoys going out for sushi with Michael, working out, watching sports, and loves all things Texas A&M! She is very excited share her passion for dancing with the Dazzlers and dance students at Cy Ridge.
Haley McBrayer (Assistant Director)
HaleyMcBrayer was born and raised in Katy, Texas. She began dancing at the age of 3 in the Cypress and Katy area. Haley began competitive dance at age 9 and continued until she was in high school. Haley was trained under Ginny Hintze and Michelle Leagans-Chavarria at Hintze Dance Center in Cypress and was part of the award winning Hintze Dance Company winning numerous group and solo awards.
In high school she was part of the Mayde Creek Martinettes, holding several leadership positions, including Captain, her senior year. Haley attended Texas State University where she was both a Dance Major and a member of the World Famous Texas State Strutters dance team. While she was a Strutter, Haley performed in a guest performance for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and at a San Antonio Spurs halftime. In addition, Haley was an active member of the Delta Zeta Sorority, and the Texas State Dance Department.
Haley graduated in December 2014 with her Bachelors of Arts degree in Dance Studies from Texas State University as well as receiving her secondary dance certification from the Texas Education Agency. Upon graduation Haley moved to the DFW area where she was a teacher at Dianne Cole Johnson School of Dance and choreographer for the award winning Diva competition team. She also assisted with the NorthStars Drill Team at McKinney North High School while living in Dallas. After moving back to Houston, Haley continued teaching dance at Hintze Dance Center where she was an academy teacher as well as a Hintze Dance Company choreographer. While at Hintze, her choreography won multiple awards including several 1st overall awards.
This is Haley’s second year at Cypress Ridge High School as the Assistant Director of Dazzlers in addition to being the PE dance teacher. She is extremely excited for this new journey and being able to share her love of dance team with her students and Dazzlers.
