CFISD softball athletes earn 2024 academic all-district honors
Bridgeland High School junior Rylie Marquart was among more than 130 CFISD softball players named to the Academic All-District 16-6A and District 17-6A softball teams.
July 3, 2024—More than 130 CFISD softball players were named to the Academic All-District 16-6A and District 17-6A softball teams.
Athletes who earned academic all-district honors finished the season in good academic standing and earned a composite weighted GPA of 5.5 or higher for all classes for the two identified six weeks that make up the majority of their regular season.
“CFISD softball coaches and athletes wrap up another exciting season on the diamond with class and style,” said Ronald Patton, associate athletic director. “They continue to show why they are among the cream of the crop in the region and state. We’re extremely proud of their efforts on the diamond, however, kudos to the 132 student athletes who have gone above and beyond to maintain academic excellence throughout the year as well.”
